Established in 1996, LFSA is a one-stop agency that focuses on the development and the promotion of Labuan as an International Business and Financial Centre.
ALB was established in 1994 and its objectives are to obtain and represent the views of the membership and to represent these views to the Labuan Business and Financial Services Authority (LFSA) as well as promoting and represent the interests of the membership by only means and methods consistent with the laws of the International Business and Financial Centre of the Federal Territory of Labuan.
LIIA was established in 1998 and its objectives are to obtain and represent the views of the membership and to represent these views to the Labuan Offshore Financial Services Authority (LOFSA) as well as promoting and represent the interests of the membership by only means and methods consistent with the laws of the International Offshore Financial Centre of the Federal Territory of Labuan.
Labuan Tourism, a division of Perbadanan Labuan, is charged with the task to develop Labuan in tandem with national aspirations and outlook. Its functions include the provision of physical infrastructure, tourism development, socio-economic advancement and the promotion of industry on the island.
Bank Negara Malaysia is the central bank for Malaysia and its duties, among others are to promote monetary stability and a sound financial structure and to influence the credit situation to the advantage of Malaysia.
LFX is an offshore financial exchange based in Labuan, and was established to complement the various offshore financial services currently available in Labuan. Wholly owned by the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE), LFX is a full-fledge Exchange with listing and trading facilities.
Labuan IBFC Inc. Sdn. Bhd. is the official agency sanctioned by the Malaysian Government to undertake all marketing, promotional and development efforts for the Labuan International Business and Financial Centre.
